Please list the citations of clinical trials with relevant endpoints in human subjects with any of the major chemical constituents, or with the oil on its own. I’m ready to revise my post if you produce them.

Scott you should do more research before you put oil of oregano and "snake oil" in the same sentence. Oil of oregano is a very powerful thing and i cannot go into all the detail but in more than 7 countries it is being studied by scientist with some amazing early results. This is too much to go into in a blog post but please see here http://www.naturalnews.com/030833_oil_of_Oregano_cancer.html

"A new report out of the University of Arizona (UofA) says that oil of oregano is a powerful nutrient for fighting harmful bacteria and preventing cancer. Sadhana Ravishankar, a food microbiologist at UofA, discovered that carvacrol, a phenol of oregano oil, exhibits powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, not only when consumed but also when applied to foods"
You should leave the subject of Oil of Oregano alone because you are making yourself look a little uneducated.

A veritable <a href="http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Gish_Gallop" rel="nofollow">Gish Gallop</a>
Pharma and quack medicine firms seem to make a fortune off of vitamins, homeopathy and other non-patent medicines, so the lack of a patent doesn't seem to be a barrier.
You refer to DCA at the U of Alberta. If it were highly effective in the initial level studies, money would come from everywhere. However, <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/insolence/2010/05/17/dichloroacetate-dca-and-cancer-deja-vu-a/" rel="nofollow">it really isn't</a>. That's why there isn't money being thrown at it for studies.
“vaccine clinics including pharmacies can make 150.00 per hour” So?
“World Health Organization weakened the rules for vaccine testing in 2008” Reference? Even if true, vaccines have been proven safe by thousands of studies, involving millions of people over decades of research.
“why are nurses and doctors in BC refusing to be mandated into accepting vaccinations” Because they are foolish. Any other intimation is a conspiracy theory.
“yearly vaccinations of our pets” I fail to see what pet vaccinations have to do with human vaccinations.
Finally, I fail to see what any of these “arguments” have to do with the effectiveness of oil of oregano. Oh yes, that's right: none.

Not true Denise. There is an old drug being used in a new way to combat cancers, including brain cancer, by University of Alberta researchers. Fifth estate also did a story on this drug. Apparently even though it has been shown to be effective in clinical trials, Big Pharma will not touch it it, because IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PATENT THIS DRUG AS IT IS COMMON AND BEEN AROUND FOR TOO LONG. The drug works, but Big Pharma cannot profit off it so the university is raising money for testing privately. IT is possible this effective drug will never be available to the public because not enough money can be raised to conduct trials or to bring it to market.

Also, vaccine clinics including pharmacies can make 150.00 per hour from administering vaccines in Canada. Pharmacists have made this information public and it can be verified online. So the question is, are vaccines really safe since the World Health Organization weakened the rules for vaccine testing in 2008, and are doctors and pharmacists promoting vaccines because they make good money for doing so.. And if vaccines are safe, then why are nurses and doctors in BC refusing to be mandated into accepting vaccinations as a workplace measure. Is it possible that doctors and nurses who do not want to accept vaccines themselves, will never be able to state that vaccines are not safe, because they have profited from administering them in the past. Most of us know by now, that the yearly vaccinations of our pets was not a science based recommendation, but a public education initative to promote annual pet check-ups.

I've just read a fair bit on the subject of Oil of Oregano over the net.

It begs the question: If Oil of Oregano is believed by the general public to be so beneficial and only small lab tests have been done, and its been around a long time, and there is so much sceptasisim in the medical fraternaty, then why in the hell hasn't there been extensive conclusive studies and testing on humans being conducted by the medical fraternity?
Answer: $$$$$$$$ for the pharmaceutical industry GONE!!!!

Get real people, everyone knows they're in bed together!
